Enables faster imaging and cloud-based service to support uptime

October 9, 2014 — New York Imaging Service, a PMI company and the largest regional independent provider of digital imaging technology and services for medical facilities in New York State, announced that the company has re-signed its contract with the New York Mets. The ballclub will upgrade their existing imaging equipment to Quantum Medical Imaging’s industry leading X-ray room, powered by Carestream’s Digital Imaging Solution. This advanced technology will provide faster imaging capabilities, enabling an accelerated workflow. New York Imaging Service also installed their cloud-based PMI Touch service program, allowing for 24/7 real-time remote support to keep the system up and running smoothly, especially during critical times.

Jeffrey Pasquale, executive vice president of sales for New York Imaging Service, said, “We are excited to be able to install the latest Digital Imaging Solution from Carestream along with Hospital grade X-ray equipment from Quantum Medical Imaging. This renewed partnership reaffirms our commitment to providing our Partners with state-of-the-art equipment, which will ensure high quality care and image quality.
