October 19, 2010 — Aero DR is a new wireless digital radiography (DR) system offering workflow improvements with a simple, easy-to-use console. It will be featured at Konica Minolta's booth at RSNA 2010.

Aero DR is lightweight (6.6 lbs.) and incorporates an extended-life battery with a short cycle charge. It features a cesium iodide (CsI) scintillator for low-dose, high-resolution imaging. The flat panel detector’s dimensions, 14 inches by 17 inches, allow it to fit into an existing wall-stand or table bucky tray without modification. The wireless system’s imaging console has a new, simple, user-friendly design and can share an operation with other Konica Minolta Regius computed radiography (CR) systems.

Aero DR provides either a full room radiography solution or a Universal Fit solution for converting existing analog rooms to digital. It is pending FDA 510(k) clearance.
