Siemens has two new treatment planning approaches, IM-RealART Solution and IM-Confident Plan.
IM-Confident Plan, says Siemens, is a simple, and efficient IMRT solution designed to deliver fast, high-quality IMRT treatments. It combines 160 MLC Multileaf Collimator with PROWESS Panther IMRT planning system to provide better tumor conformity and can reduce treatment time to less than five minutes – speeding up treatment delivery and improving treatment plan quality.
Designed specifically for immediate replanning within IGRT, the IM-RealART Solution combines the Treago Robotic Table with CTVision System and PROWESS RealART treatment planning system, to offer diagnostic-quality, in-room imaging, while providing the ability to replan the treatment on the spot and react immediately prior to treatment to changes in patient anatomy.
IM-RealART Solution is a works in progress and not commercially available in the U.S.
