The new Echelon 1.5T MRI has higher-order active shim, RAPID parallel imaging, a scalable 8-channel RF system, multiple coil ports, an advanced reconstruction engine and more. Its computer system, VERTEX, is the integration of a multiprocessor CPU and an advanced scan/reconstruction engine.

The ZD2-Gd probe, represented by the orange ball and green arrow, binds to the EDB-FN in the prostate cancer cells with high metastatic potential. This results in a strong MRI signal (upper right).
