Neurosurgical OR Integrates Surgical, Diagnostic Tools with Efficiency

BrainSUITE iMRI by BrainLAB is a state-of-the-art neurosurgical OR that fully integrates all relevant surgical and diagnostic tools, including intraoperative, high-field magnetic resonance imaging to treat complicated neurosurgical cases in a workflow-optimized and efficient way. Pretested and designed for MR compatibility and safety, rapid implementation into the clinical environment is guaranteed by the company.
The system’s major components include BrainLAB’s VectorVision sky navigation system and Siemens’ 1.5T MAGNETOM Espree widebore MRI scanner.
As a complete turnkey solution, the system reduces installation time, minimizes OR downtime and allows cost predictability. The standardized construction process and the pretested components ensure MR safety and compatibility. In addition, the components are organized in such a way as to optimize the workflow, which in turn ensures that the system is appropriate for routine clinical use. The location of the patient’s head outside of the 5 Gauss line enables surgeons to use standard operating instruments.
