Merge Features Web-based PACS Solutions, Applications

Merge Healthcare’s Cedara WebAccess technology consists of a completely thin client solution that aims to provide fast and easy access to images and reports for the referring physician. This solution requires absolutely no download or installation on the client machine and hence requires minimal maintenance and support.

Cedara I-Reach can become a complete Web-enabled PACS that facilitates full Internet viewing and diagnostic reading of images, with distribution throughout the enterprise or remotely. It includes a full diagnostic viewing application of choice, a variety of clinical applications, a Web server to manage user access and preferences, and a DICOM-compliant archiving solution designed with a scalable architecture to allow for business growth. I-Reach seamlessly launches clinical applications to provide an integrated solution for viewing and reading needs using the C4 plug-in technology.

I-Reach can now be configured to launch into the eFilm plug-in, allowing customers to launch their favorite viewer in a Web-enabled environment.
