July 11, 2007 – Medison recently introduced the SonoAce X8, a multi-modality ultrasound system designed to adapt to meet all imaging needs from performing abdominal, OBGYN, small parts, vascular and/or cardiac examinations.
SonoAce X8 features a high-resolution 3-D/4-D imaging, 3-D MultiSlice View, 3-D Oblique View, Dynamic MR and Full Spectrum Imaging. The system also incorporates a high-resolution 17-inch LCD flat screen monitor with an articulated arm for optimal ergonomic viewing during the ultrasound examination. The system design and interactive console are equipped for the busy hospital, imaging center or private office.
SonoAce X8 also includes sensitive spectral, color and power Doppler as well as harmonic imaging, on-board image archival and comprehensive measurement packages.
The sophisticated platform also allows for in-depth post-processing and measurements of stored images.
The product release date for sale in the USA is August 2007.
