Frost & Sullivan Honors Mach7 with the 2012 Best Practices Award

September 21, 2012—Mach 7 Technologies (Mach7), a global provider of enterprise clinical image management solutions, has been named the Global Enterprise Imaging Informatics Entrepreneurial Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan. The Best Practices accolade comes as a result of Frost & Sullivan’s recent analysis of the enterprise medical image archiving market.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit by devising a strong growth strategy and robustly implementing it. The market research firm believes that Mach7 has shown strength in terms of innovation in business processes, leadership in customer value as well as market penetration.

Mach7’s flagship solution, Keystone Suite, exemplifies best-in-class enterprise image management and archiving. The enterprise clinical image management platform is highly scalable and has been tested as a robust solution at all types of facilities. According to Frost & Sullivan, this dedication to product development sets Mach7 apart and allows it to adopt a multi-department, enterprise-oriented market approach to the image management market.

Further setting Mach7 apart is a unique value proposition. The company’s vendor-neutral archiving platform is not bound to a radiology-centric approach. The innovative technology empowers customers to own, share and access their imaging data and workflow by providing a final solution to DICOM and non-DICOM interoperability challenges, and enabling users to achieve true enterprise imaging integration.

“Implementing its technology at prestigious healthcare institutions across the U.S. was one of Mach 7 Technologies’ early achievements,” says Frost & Sullivan Principal Analyst Nadim Daher. “The adoption of its solutions by some of the world’s leading names in healthcare demonstrated the company’s thought leadership and its ability to effectively address complex challenges for large, highly demanding academic medical centers.”

Frost & Sullivan’s report notes that Mach7’s approach to image management is perfectly in line with the emerging paradigm that seeks to replace monolithic picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) with a best-of-breed combination of a PACS-neutral, back-end infrastructure with diagnostic and enterprise PACS viewers.

“The 2012 Best Practices Award is a great milestone for Mach 7 Technologies,” says John Memarian, GM Americas Operation, Sales & Marketing. “To be recognized by a reputable market research firm for our innovative technology and collaborative business practices confirms what we’ve strived to achieve as an organization.”
