LEADTOOLS Comprehensive Toolkit Improves Data Generation, Management

Lead Technologies, Inc.'s LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging SDK is a comprehensive toolkit that supports all DICOM IODs defined in the 2008 printed version of DICOM 3.0 standard. Developers can easily generate and manipulate data, such as DICOM Basic Directory, Enhanced CT/MRI/XA Image objects, Encapsulated Documents (PDF, CDA) and Raw Data.

The LEADTOOLS PACS Imaging SDK supports all DICOM 3.0 standard’s messaging protocol and extends access of PACS to non DICOM compliant systems via web services. This toolkit also makes available DICOM networking support for creating client/server systems.

The LEADTOOLS Medical Multimedia Module is an add-on to LEADTOOLS SDKs that includes the LEADTOOLS Multimedia SDK and a collection of state-of-the-art DirectShow filters for compressing and decompressing video and audio data inside DICOM files. Develop powerful document imaging applications with the LEADTOOLS Document Imaging Enterprise SDK. Includes a full range of recognition technologies such as powerful full page and zone-based OCR with PDF output , form classification and OMR (optical mark recognition), and 1D and 2D barcode detection, reading and writing. Also load, save, scan and convert over 150 different formats. LEAD’s Medicor Imaging division publishes MiPACS, a line of cost-effective, highly scalable PACS and related components. Current customers include Veterans Administration, USAF and several major healthcare organizations.
