May 9, 2007 - InSite One Inc. recently announced the signing of an enterprise-wide, long-term archive contract with Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, incorporating InSite One’s InDex, a digital medical archiving service for radiology, mammography and cardiology.
InDex delivers a suite of managed solutions for DICOM archiving services including off-site capacity and disaster recovery. InDex services have reportedly become the diagnostic imaging industry alternative to in-house proprietary archive solutions.
The InDex Archive is developed with the cooperation of leading healthcare IT and security advisors, implemented since 1999. This patented solution includes audit logging for HIPAA compliance, remote archiving for disaster recovery with automated failover, load balancing, pre-fetch, TruImage verification of all archived images every 90 days and intelligent routing of exams among sites centered on a rules-based engine.
