October 2, 2008 - InSite One signed a multi-year agreement with VHA Inc., the national healthcare alliance, to provide medical digital archiving, storage and disaster recovery services to VHA member hospitals across the nation.

Through this agreement member hospitals will reportedly save money by using InSite One’s InDex managed suite of services to support archiving, storage and disaster recovery in their diagnostic imaging departments.

The archiving and storage architecture is the center of the digital transformation, affecting performance, productivity, and growth of clinical information network. With expertise in both health care and technology, InSite One has created managed long-term archiving and storage services that deliver the functionality, quality, and absolute reliability healthcare requires.

InSite One’s patented InDex storage management services deliver a suite of standards-based solutions that, according to the company, adhere to DICOM, HL7, and XDS (cross document sharing) protocols. The on-demand repository is designed to provide rapid retrieval of clinical information throughout the enterprise with retention for their legal-life in a tamper-proof HIPAA compliant environment.
