IBA Introduces Dolphin Online Treatment Monitoring System

Wireless transmission detector compatible with stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy

May 22, 2015 — Dolphin Online Treatment Monitoring from IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A.) is a transmission detector for safer patient care, improved treatment control and confidence fraction by fraction – until the last fraction delivered. Dolphin’s QuickCheck analysis allows detecting and evaluating discrepancies immediately and automatically. The wireless, patient-friendly design is fully integrated into the workflow. Dolphin is indicated for use with stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) delivery. Neither a hybrid plan nor pre-treatment calibration is required.
