January 3, 2012 — Independent research firm KLAS has named Hitachi’s Oasis High-field Open MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) as the Open category leader for the second consecutive year in its “Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards” report. KLAS presented this award to Hitachi Medical Systems America at an RSNA 2011 reception on Nov. 27, 2011.
“Hitachi Oasis was the Open MR category leader in the Top 20 Best in KLAS report and was also the highest ranked of any MR system in both the Top 20 Best in KLAS as well as the recently published KLAS MRI report,” according to Emily Crane, research director for KLAS, as stated in the report.
The Oasis uses bore-less high-field MRI, combining a comfortable patient experience with powerful technology to make imaging procedures as quick and smooth as possible.
