March 1, 2007 – Hewlett Packard (HP) highlighted its new GIGPAD (Gateway for Integrated Genomics Proteomics Applications and Data) infrastructure, an initiative that bridges the laboratory information system, EMR systems and genetic information for personalized medicine.
HP is developing GIGPAD in collaboration with Harvard Medical School-Partners HealthCare Center for Genetics and Genomics Partners HealthCare Information Systems in its aim to provide clinical decision support with genetics and genomics information.
