Fujifilm SonoSite Unveils SonoSite Synchronicity Ultrasound Workflow Solution

October 4, 2018 — Fujifilm SonoSite Inc. announced its entry into the medical informatics space with the launch of a robust point-of-care workflow solution, SonoSite Synchronicity. The software is designed specifically for point-of-care ultrasound to streamline and standardize clinical workflow while delivering administrative efficiencies with flexible credentialing tools.

SonoSite Synchronicity workflow software is designed to help healthcare organizations optimize workflows, maximize financial return, improve quality assurance efficiency, and streamline credentialing processes.

  • Optimize workflows: The SonoSite Synchronicity solution will integrate with existing data management systems, enabling the use of current user login credentials, and it can be implemented across multiple departments organization-wide to help enhance standardization;
  • Maximize financial return: A simplified reporting process ensures all exams are compliant with billing requirements, helping to maximize an organizations' bottom line;
  • Improve quality assurance efficiency: Interfacing all point-of-care ultrasound devices with one, vendor-neutral, software solution helps  maintain organization-wide standardization and compliance; and
  • Streamline credentialing processes: SonoSite Synchronicity software helps to manage the credentialing process by providing easy access to documentation required for physicians to apply for additional ultrasound privileges.

Adhering to Protected Health Information (PHI) guidelines, the SonoSite Synchronicity solution helps organizations achieve higher security confidence through multi-factor login and Active Directory authentication. It permits the granting or denying of access based on specialty, department and user profile, and it also allows users to gain access from any network connected device and export data to other media - all while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
