Frost & Sullivan Honors Zonare for Ultrasound Innovation

November 21, 2011 — Zonare Medical Systems announced they have been honored with the Frost & Sullivan 2011 North American Technology Innovation Award in Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging Technology. The award recognizes excellence in the development of Zone Sonography Technology (ZST).

"Through a new approach to acoustic image acquisition and processing, Zone Sonography Technology has substantial clinical benefits at a substantial price to value ratio," said Frost & Sullivan industry analyst Darshana De. "Frost & Sullivan believes that Zone Sonography Technology will become the next industry standard method of generating ultrasound images. It is overcoming a number of barriers of digital beam formation technology and is also two generations ahead of traditional digital beam formation technology."
