Emageon, Dell Team Up to Create Affordable High-End PACS

Emageon Inc. recently announced its new RadSuite Express PACS, a simplified Web-enabled, single-server solution based on Dell technology, created for the fast growing small to mid-sized hospital and clinic market. The system reportedly gives specialists and referring physicians in smaller facilities access to the same high-end, multidisciplinary 3D imaging tools used by radiology, orthopedic and emergency specialists. The new PACS features the imaging best practices, optimized hanging protocols and workflow capability experience that earned Emageon the highest overall vendor rating in the KLAS April 2007 PACS Perception Report.
