September 15, 2008 – InSite One signed a long-term storage contract with Elizabeth Wende Breast Care, LLC (EWBC) in Rochester, NY, under which InSite One will manage the long-term storage, business continuity and disaster recovery for the breast care facility.

The complexities of women’s imaging creates challenges for healthcare institutions of all sizes in keeping pace with emerging imaging technology; the retention and capacity requirements for digital exams and the clinical need for accessibility to historical studies. As a leading freestanding mammography and breast imaging center, performing mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI and stereotactic biopsy, EWBC determined that purchasing and managing the hardware and licensing the software to do digital image storage itself was not the best use of its expertise. Instead, the site chose to work with InSite One for a more economical single-source solution for its technological and business continuance requirements necessary for our growing facility.
InSite One’s provides patented data security measures and “intelligent archiving” design is designed to address imaging industry requirements for a flexible on-demand and cost effective means for storing and distributing digital medical data.
