November 14, 2007 - DR Systems will demonstrate at RSNA 2007 the Release 8 software for its Unity RIS/PACS platform, providing multiple mammography capabilities for tracking, image sorting, CAD and mammography reporting.

Featured in Unity RIS/PACS, mammography tracking tracks breast imaging outcomes and follow-up tasks, mammography image sorting automatically sorts comparison exams and mammography CAD supports display over digital mammography image of Computer Aided Detection (CAD) markers.

Mammography reporting supports BI-RADS assessments, recommendations and findings. The software also encompasses new nonmammography features and system-wide capabilities, as well as enhancements to the DR Scheduler, RIS, Dominator Diagnostic Reading Workstation, Instant Reporter, Management Reports and Guardian Archive.

The company will also feature a talk on how more efficient healthcare information technology (IT) can overcome lower reimbursements for medical imaging; a presentation on the benefits of integrating mammography with RIS/PACS and a discussion of data migration.
