April 16, 2015 — Teleradiology interoperability vendor Dicom Systems is partnering with Health Level, a developer of data liquidity and analysis technology. Both companies presented at the 2015 Annual HIMSS conference and demonstrated the first results of the partnership.

This alliance addresses a specific market need to collect, process and analyze large amounts of medical data. Dicom Systems simplifies connectivity between different information systems and data sources, allowing healthcare enterprises to collect the data. Their workflow management suite provides a set of features such as DICOM/HL7 fusion, high-level language workflow management and Integration engine, radiology vendor neutral archive and HIPAA compliant, TLS encrypted, bidirectional data transfer without VPN complexity. Health Level's enterprise management platform, Foundations, combines clinical, financial, and operational data to provide meaningful information to clinicians, nurses, technologists, management and data analysts. By combining data from client's PACS/RIS, EMR, Modality, and other specialized applications such as staff schedules, Foundations provides a unified perspective to management as well as individual contributors.

"Our two platforms complement each other nicely for our mutual enterprise customers," said Dmitriy Tochilnik, president and CTO of Dicom Systems. "DCMSYS provides the smart and interoperable data flow that enables the imaging enterprise to interconnect and fluidly collect and move data; Health Level provides the layer of data liquidity necessary for healthcare providers to attain the clarity they need to effectively run their business."

"Foundations from Health Level provides the layer of insight and data liquidity with a user experience that increases doctors and staff engagement, therefore improving clinical outcomes and business performance," said Parag Paranjpe, Health Level's CEO  "We look forward to a strong and deep partnership with Dicom Systems."
