February 28, 2008 – RamSoft highlighted at HIMSS 2008 its Gateway Router, a stand-alone DICOM router and archive combination that aims to provide a secure transition of data across the Internet.

The router, based on the company’s DICOM and SQL engine, is able to hold large volumes of data reportedly from an unlimited number of sources, and route the information securely. Gateway Router has an online DICOM archiving feature as well as an SQL database, an enterprise grade DICOM engine and automatic prior exam routing. The system also supports TLS encryption and security audit trails.
