DeJarnette's Migration Toolkit Provides Comprehensive Data Migration

The PACSware Migration Toolkit by DeJarnette provides a complete set of data migration tools that can be used by PACS vendors, consultants and end users to migrate legacy PACS data. The company also provides a turn-key migration service. Toolkit features include: scheduled data migration and performance tuning to match clinical requirements; prefetch of prior exams from legacy PACS while the new PACS is in clinical operation; cleansing of image data before migrating to meet the requirements of the new PACS.

The toolkit supports four migration strategies: DICOM direct, DICOM indirect, media direct and media assisted, to meet any budgetary and/or performance criteria. The toolkit has been used to migrate over 55 million imaging studies in over 250 migration projects worldwide. The toolkit has been used to migrate from more than 35 different PACS makes and models, to current offerings of all the major PACS vendors.
