November 20, 2015 — At this year’s scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), ContextVision will be demonstrating its wide range of leading 2-D/3-D/4-D imaging enhancement software solutions for ultrasound. The company has made significant upgrades across its product range.

GOPiCE 2.0 is the second generation of ContextVision’s 3-D/4-D image enhancement software, providing OEMs with high ultrasound image quality. It is the only product on the market for real-time volumetric image processing for ultrasound, according to the company. New to the software is the ability to optimize for different visualization techniques, both multi-planar reformatting (MPR) and rendered view; intelligent near- and far-field processing that guarantees excellent image quality throughout the whole volume; and, by utilizing information from adjacent planes in the 3-D volume, processing and delivering a clearer image.

ContextVision will also be showcasing REALiCE, the company’s versatile visualization software incorporating GOPiCE 2.0. True-to-data rendering technology provides unique views of anatomies, including photo-like images, and supports early fetal diagnosis. With clearer imaging, standard fetus measurements become more accurate. New to REALiCE are the Skeletal View, Surface Rendering View and Depth Color Coding View. The improved Photographic View for REALiCE will also be presented at RSNA, which has proved far more accurate than the first generation of the feature.

US PLUSView 2.0 is ContextVision’s fifth-generation 2-D enhancement product for the entire range of clinical applications. To strengthen the offering, the company has applied advanced temporal filtering, including motion compensation – an advancement that has resulted in the highest image quality. Also new to the US PLUSView technology is an upgraded doctors’ interface, enabling ultrasound manufacturers to adjust image quality to the customers’ preferences, or provide a user interface directly to clinicians.

GOPView XR2Plus is ContextVision’s image enhancement technology for X-ray, with sophisticated adaptive technology for noise suppression; edge/contrast enhancement; and effective dynamic latitude compression. The software also includes an exposure index, which automatically monitors the digital X-ray system to deliver accurate exposure measurements to patients. Additionally, the tuning tools incorporated into GOPView XR2 Plus allow manufacturers to maintain and improve the control of the image processing parameters for optimal customer satisfaction.
