Centera Content Addressed (CAS) Storage which enhances CAS, includes Event-based Retention and Litigation Hold software to enable healthcare providers more control over information retention periods to provide stricter adherence to HIPAA compliance or governance requirements.
EMC also rolled out a single storage array, the one-petabyte EMC Symmetrix DMX-3 information storage platform. The DMX-3, which now scales both up and down for increased flexibility, is designed to enable healthcare providers of all sizes with consolidation capabilities for greater storage capacity.
