Centricity 3.0 Streamlines Reporting for Hospitals, Imaging Centers Plus Offers Linux

At RSNA 2006, GE will release Centricity PACS version 3.0, which is designed to help hospitals and imaging centers improve efficiency.
New IHE profiles within version 3.0 automate exam acquisition, reporting and communication for referring physicians. New customers will have an updated LINUX architecture available, while current Centricity customers can also implement version 3.0 within their existing infrastructure.
Additional features include: new decision-support tools such as the Business Intelligence Portal, which helps administrators maximize valuable resources; enhanced security features to protect patient information, providing access only to those who truly need it; new voice-driven commands; and highly configurable worklists to manage exams with greater efficiency.
