Carestream’s Zero-Footprint Viewer Offers Enterprise-Wide Data Access

September 20, 2011 – Carestream’s innovative Vue Motion zero-footprint, Web-based enterprise viewer enables convenient on-demand access to imaging data and patient information by clinicians anytime, anywhere. This viewer’s support of mobile devices such as Apple iPads and tablet PCs is pending U.S Food and Drug administraion (FDA) clearance in the United States but is available in other countries worldwide.

As an independent viewer, Vue Motion can be integrated with other vendors’ picture archive and communications systems (PACS) systems, digital imaging communications in medicine (DICOM) archives or XDS repositories.

Because this viewer can be easily integrated with diverse departmental systems, clinicians and referring physicians gain much faster and easier access to patient data and images stored in various locations throughout a healthcare system. Carestream Vue is a next-generation healthcare information technology platform that simplifies RIS+PACS+reporting in radiology, cardiology and mammography.
