Addenbrooke’s Hospital replaces existing PACS with Change Radiology PACS, Image Repository and Workflow Intelligence

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Implements Change Healthcare Enterprise Imaging

April 15, 2019 — Change Healthcare successfully implemented its Radiology PACS (picture archiving and communication system), Image Repository and Workflow Intelligence solution for Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust. The suite of solutions replaced the existing PACS at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The implementation process involved a collaborative approach between Change Healthcare and CUH. In its role as technology partner, Change Healthcare was able to advise the Trust regarding aspects such as data transfer and governance to gain efficiencies and work towards achieving significant time savings.

CUH’s Acting Imaging Operations Manager James Brennan said, “The functionality of the technology has impressed our team as has the implementation process. We are eager to see the benefits of the solutions in the coming months.”
