June 11, 2007 - Calgary Scientific Inc. Medical Group announced the availability of the ResolutionMD Advanced Visualization (AV) Toolkit and unveiled ResolutionMD Oncology suite and Virtual Colonoscopy at SIIM 2007. These new products combined with the ResolutionMD Cardiac and Neuro suites are designed to provide PACS, HIS, RIS, practice management and EMR systems vendors access to a wide array of tightly-integrated general and disease-specific visualization and analysis applications.
The ResolutionMD platform and suites run on MS Windows and Mac OS X. The suites are designed to deliver fast and accurate analysis and reporting in standard 2-D workflow format, and leverage CSIMG’s proprietary GPU-based direct volume rendering technology to deliver truly advanced real-time 3-D rendering a seamless part of the workflow. All suites provide contextual close-up capabilities for pathology exploration.
