March 12, 2007 - Brit Systems recently announced that the company has received an order valued at more than $7.3 million from the Veterans Administration (VA), to implement a Virtual PACS across all of its VISN 23 sites.
At each site, all diagnostic, Linux-based Brit Vision workstations within VISN 23 will have the capability to share the same radiology work list that will be dynamically updating and selectable to include studies based on a wide set of criteria such as body region, modality and exam status. Radiologists can reportedly see exactly which exams are already open across the VISN and clinicians will then be able to view any exam and report.
