Non-OEM medical imaging solutions provider closes its second acquisition of 2015

BC Technical, the nation's leading non-OEM provider of Medical Imaging Solutions, has acquired Eclipse Systems, a nuclear imaging service company providing systems, parts and customized service solutions. As part of their ongoing vision to provide the best, and most comprehensive service at an affordable rate, BC Technical continues to expand their reach and expertise. This strategic acquisition allows BC Technical to add valuable resources and knowledge in addition to strengthening their capabilities, specifically within Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.

"We're expanding the BC Technical family once again," said Mark Alvarez, president and CEO of BC Technical. "And each time we do, we're confident we're improving our service capabilities for our ongoing vision of being the only true alternative to the OEM. We have great things in store for the year."

Eclipse Systems, based in Branford, CT, provides service, systems and parts for Nuclear Medicine. Former owner, William Carroll, will be joining the BC Technical team.

"BC Technical's roots are in our area of expertise," William Carroll stated.  "We're excited to join their vision and take things to the next level."

The acquisition of Eclipse Medical helps solidify BC Technicals position as the leading nationwide, independent service, systems and parts provider for CT, MR, NM, PET and PET/CT, and the only viable alternative to the OEM.

BC Technical is a non-OEM provider of Medical Imaging Solutions. They provide the same level of resources, quality and expertise expected from large OEMs with the added flexibility and value expected of smaller ISOs. Their customers trust them to provide the best refurbished NM, SPECT/CT, PET, PET/CT, MRI and CT systems from all major OEMs, nationwide on-site service in all 50 states and personal technical/clinical support.
