Software unlocks disparate archives for more efficient management of images and other data

October 5, 2016 — aycan recently introduced aycan store VNA, a vendor neutral archiving (VNA) and distribution system that helps healthcare organizations be more efficient with the management and sharing of images and other data.

Because aycan store VNA is vendor-neutral, it easily works with hospitals and imaging centers that have disparate picture archiving and communications systems (PACS), while providing an open platform to choose and use best-of-breed technologies. aycan store VNA can store and access DICOM and non-DICOM images and integrate radiology information systems (RIS), electronic medical records (EMR) and other patient management systems.

Other key capabilities of aycan store VNA include auto-policy setting that automates the purging, compression, copying, and movement of images and data across the enterprise; and primary imagery and data can be stored in the central VNA, while copies can be maintained on local systems so preferred tools may still be used, and local control can be maintained.

The system is supported by professional services provided by aycan’s team of technicians. Services include data migration, design and implementation, and training, as well as ongoing immediate, live, customer service and support.
