aycan Installs second xray-print Solution at Inspira Health

aycan completed the install of a second aycan xray-print solution at Inspira Health in New Jersey

February 10, 2020 — aycan completed the install of a second aycan xray-print solution at Inspira Health in New Jersey. The DICOM plain paper printing solution was installed in the radiology department at their new medical center in Mullica Hill. Inspira Health’s provides expert care to residents and families across South Jersey, and will use this solution for offering high quality radiology images to referring physicians and patients.

Compatible with PACS and modalities using the DICOM 3.0 standard, aycan xray-print fits seamlessly into existing workflows. Plus, there’s no need for special training as aycan xray-print is operated just like a film printer. aycan xray-print software receives DICOM images from a modality, and then prints them in color or black & white on an aycan certified printer. To achieve near film quality prints, the hardware and software have been optimized for medical imagery. You can further fine-tune print quality through the simple user interface. Features, such as Presentation Look-Up Tables (PLUT), can be easily accessed to set defaults and adjust image quality output settings such as brightness, gray scale, and contrast for each modality.

Mary T. Fanning, R. T. (R) (M) ASRT, PACS administrator at Inspira Health said:” We installed our second aycan print system for our new state-of-the-art facility and we are extremely pleased. The quality of the printed images is very good and their support is excellent! Installation was very easy with support onsite to assist. I would highly recommend aycan!”
