ASTRO Names 2026 Fellows

July 22, 2026 — The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) has announced the 39 members who will receive the ASTRO Fellow (FASTRO) designation this year. This honor recognizes ASTRO members’ outstanding achievements and contributions to the Society, cancer research, education, patient care and the specialty. The new Fellows will be recognized at ASTRO’s 68th Annual Meeting in Boston in September.

The FASTRO designation recognizes sustained achievement and service to ASTRO, the field of radiation oncology and patient care. First awarded in 2006, the designation has been awarded to just 580 of ASTRO’s more than 10,000 members worldwide. The incoming class of Fellows includes physicians, medical physicists and scientists whose work has advanced the science and delivery of radiation therapy for people with cancer and other diseases.
