AMICAS to Debut New Version of Vision Series RIS

AMICAS will display a new version of Vision Series RIS, introducing advanced work queues to optimize the order entry and scheduling workflows. The new release also introduces advances in native HL7 integration capabilities and advances in scalability for complex practices.

Insight Dashboards is a Web-based business intelligence platform that works to provide access to customized, near real-time graphical data for key performance metrics and indicators, including both clinical and operational factors.

The Amicas Vision Series PACS Version 5.5 introduces major enhancements to the RealTime Worklist, including role-based workflow management. Also included are extended Vision Watch reporting capabilities and new advanced high-availability options.

Also showcased is Vision Reach, which allows radiology practices and departments to provide unparalleled service to referring physicians. This new zero install solution uses common e-mail and secure messaging to deliver images, reports, and information to any e-mail-enabled device via a secure Web-based portal. Vision Reach also provides referring physicians with the ability to request orders for new studies via the new order entry module.

RadStream reduces medical-legal risk by automating and documenting critical results communications and also automates the prioritization of imaging exams based on a “most likely to interrupt” method, which has been shown to dramatically increase radiologist productivity, according to the company.

Vision Series Financials, which offers modern, Windows-based technology to automate the identification and management of denials and follow-up workflows, combines a modern, recently revamped architecture with pioneering functionality to streamline the latest techniques for advanced revenue cycle management.

Finally, making its way to SIIM is Insight Dashboards which is a Web-based business intelligence platform that provides access to customized, near real time, easy-to-read data for key performance metrics and indicators, including both clinical and operational factors. This solution provides leadership with excellent visibility into operations.
