AHRA Announces GE Healthcare Award for Excellence Recipients

Five American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) members were honored by GE Healthcare and AHRA for their exceptional innovation, leadership, administrative capabilities and sharing of expertise and experience. The GE Healthcare Award for Excellence is sponsored by AHRA and GE Healthcare, and recipients receive a crystal trophy, a blue blazer embroidered with the Award for Excellence logo and $2,000 donated in their name to the AHRA Education Foundation courtesy of GE.
The 2006 recipients were: James A. Amato, MBA, radiology administrator, University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA; Roberta M. Edge, CRR, FAHRA, director of Imaging Services, Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, Modesto, CA; Diane M. Nelson, RT, CRA., radiology manager, Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND; Colleen J. Payne, CEO/administrator, MCI Diagnostic Center, Tulsa, OK; and Eleanor A. Richardson, executive director, North Shore Magnetic Imaging Center, Peabody, MA.
