Agfa HealthCare to display IMPAX Scheduling at RSNA 2008

November 21, 2008 - Agfa HealthCare will showcase its web-based enterprise scheduling and planning solution, IMPAX Scheduling, at RSNA this year.

With healthcare delivery becoming increasingly complex, the solution is designed to help hospitals and clinics of all sizes increase productivity by efficiently managing study orders, patient appointments and resources in a real-time, web based application. IMPAX Scheduling delivers increased resource efficiency at a very low time-to-schedule.

Utilizing the IMPAX Scheduling module, Radiology departments can expand their reach by offering the simplified order placement and appointment scheduling directly into the referring physician's offices.

Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX Scheduling solution offers an intuitive user interface and is configurable. This enables the solution's optimization for each clinical discipline allowing different workflows to be incorporated. A rules-based logic tool built within the scheduling and order placement applications, helps to reduce scheduler errors and the number of clicks required to complete a task.
