May 29, 2007 - Agfa HealthCare recently unveiled its ORBIS, a hospital and clinical information system (HIS/CIS) that offers a unique single database structure, integrating all administrative and clinical data, at the e-Health Conference 2007 in Québec, Canada, May 27-30.
The ORBIS allows users to update and access patient information in real-time, enabling enhanced decision making and streamlined patient care. The ORBIS platform contains over 70 modules that can be used to build and customize the system at the point of care, according to the needs of the provider, patients and healthcare organization overall. This integrated EPR solution also includes scheduling activity management and communication software to extend a holistic view of both clinical and administrative information processes.
