The SDU-2200Pro ultrasound scanner from Shimadzu is said to deliver higher quality ultrasound images due to a digital beam former that uses advanced digital technology. The full-digital color diagnostic ultrasound system reportedly records a large amount of diagnostic information and provides the high frame rates, accurate focus, wide dynamic range and high frequencies demanded for ultrasound diagnosis.
According to the company, the system’s True Motion Imaging captures even transitory movement and provides high temporal resolution for greater diagnostic confidence. The Application Specific Imaging key stores commonly used parameters that can be recalled for use in image display by a single key touch.
