ACC TEST - Sony to Highlight Versatile Imagers

At RSNA 2007, Sony will feature its diagnostic quality FilmStation Dry Film Imager model UP-DF500, designed for medical modalities such as CT, MRI and X-ray.
The Sony FilmStation Dry Film Imager gives an installation choice of horizontal or vertical. In addition, as a result of high-resolution 320dpi thermal head technology, the FilmStation provides superb quality images, according to the company.
The company will also bring to RSNA its UP-D74XRD 8-by-10-inch diagnostic thermal black and white digital film and paper imager. Designed specifically for use with medical diagnostic imaging systems, the UP-D74XRD is compatible with ultrasound, mobile C-arm and X-ray. Built-in DICOM and USB interface allows for use with PACS network or for direct PC connection, and for additional convenience LCD display controls and media loading are all located on the front panel.
