May 27, 2008 - Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, University of Michigan Health System and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences selected the eHealthConnect service to streamline medical records management in the solid organ transplant departments within each facility.

eHealthConnect provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global's clinical customer support team for patients that are referred to these facilities. The records and images are then digitized and made accessible to these institutions through a secure delivery method of their choice.

Transplant programs have a critical need to gather prior patient pathology, lab and radiology reports and images to support the process for a patients organ transplantation listing. eHealthConnect helps facilities obtain medical records in a more-timely manner for patient evaluation and subsequent listing.

eHealth Global is a medical record service provider that combines advanced information technology with its clinical customer support team to collect and manage patient data that resides beyond the digital reach of clients. eHealthConnect, eHealthShare, eHealthRetriever and eHealthLoader are designed to help patients, medical center clinical departments, communities and private healthcare institutions improve productivity, reduce waste and improve patient care.
