IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A.) launched a software platform for quality assurance, called myQA.

Ion Beam Applications S.A. (IBA) announced the delivery of its 1,000th Blue Phantom² system. The device was delivered to the Centre de Radiothérapie des Ardennes, Charleville-Mézières, France.

Zevacor Molecular, a healthcare firm that manufactures and distributes positron emissions tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) radiopharmaceuticals, has purchased the first 70 MeV Cyclotron dedicated to medical use in the United States from Ion Beam Applications, S.A. (IBA).

IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A.) has launched an extension to the Visicoil product line at the annual ASTRO congress of the American Society for Radiation Oncology. This new design incorporates kV X-ray imaging compliant Visicoil Linear Markers pre-loaded in 21g and 22g needles that are almost half the size of needles typically used for placement of gold seeds.
