March 20 — Verasonics, Inc. recently announced the release of new features for the Vantage NXT Research Ultrasound System to advance ultrasound research and product development. The Vantage NXT update includes the release of the Acquisition SDK Programming Model and a 3 MHz matrix array transducer. This release will be available to all Vantage NXTcustomers on March 20, 2025.

March 18, 2025 — GE HealthCare recently announced a collaboration with NVIDIA expanding the existing relationship between the two companies to focus on innovation in autonomous imaging, beginning with autonomous X-ray technologies and autonomous applications within ultrasound.

March 18 — Perspectum has released the results of a multinational study showing that LiverMultiScan can reduce liver biopsies, lead to fewer specialist consultations, and improve the rate of diagnosis for patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). The study was published in Nature Communications Medicine and shows that MRI for patients with MASLD is cost-effective in Europe.

March 11, 2025  — ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. is introducing the ZAP-Axon Radiosurgery Planning System*, a new software platform dedicated to the company’s ZAP-X Gyroscopic Radiosurgery system. Designed to simplify, accelerate, and enhance treatment planning, Axon aims to set new benchmarks in radiosurgery brain tumor treatments. Axon is currently pending FDA 510(k) clearance and is expected to be available in Spring 2025.

March 11, 2025 – FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corp. has announced the commercialization for its EN-840T Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE) scope, an endoscopic imaging technology that enables access to the entire small intestine for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention. The EN-840T DBE scope represents a major update to Fujifilm’s Double Balloon Enteroscopy  technology.

The new product class includes the Naeotom Alpha.Pro, a second dual-source CT scanner; and the Naeotom Alpha.Prime, a single-source scanner with photon-counting CT technology.
