July 10, 2023 — The Association for Medical Imaging Management will be installing newly-elected officers during its July 12 business meeting during the AHRA 2023 Annual Meeting. The July 9-12 event is being held in Indianapolis, Ind., and commemorating the organization’s 50th year.

The following president-elect and newly-elected directors were chosen by AHRA membership, as announced in a mid-May statement released by AHRA detailing results of its online election for its 2023-2024 Board of Directors.

President-Elect: Mario Pistilli, CRA, FAHRA, Director of Imaging Services, at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (Los Angeles, Calif.)

Directors for 2023-2024 include:

Brian Fox, FACHE, MBA, CRA, RT(R)(MR)Executive Director, Radiology and Patient Transport with Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis, Mo.)

Cindy M. Winter, PhD, FAHRA, CRA, RDMS, RVT, RT(R), is Director of Radiology and Patient Transportation at John Peter Smith Health Network (Cleburne, Texas)

Sharon Harms, CRA, FAHRADirector of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and GI Specialties for Bryan Medical Center (Lincoln, Neb.)

Wendy Renneke R.T.(R)(CT), Health Services Manager, University of Washington Medicine (Woodinville, Wash.)

Gerard Wilson, Assistant Director of Radiology at Texas Children's Hospital (Round Rock, Texas)
 

“The AHRA membership is very fortunate to have this group of dedicated imaging professionals represent them as they strive to increase the visibility of AHRA and the imaging profession,” said AHRA President, Brenda DeBastiani, CRA, FAHRA.

Also on July 12, AHRA 2023-2024 President Becky Allen, MSRS, CRA, R.T.(R), will be presenting an Aspiring Leaders session, “Patient Satisfaction in Today's Healthcare Environment.” Allen is the Vice President of Operations, University of Cincinnati (UC) Medical Center/UC Health. On day two of the AHRA Annual Meeting, July 10, she co-presented “Budgeting for Business Management” as part of the Aspiring Leaders track.

According to the AHRA 2023 Program, Allen is also currently the HealthCare Administrator for the ACMUI, a committee that advises the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission on policy. She has been in the healthcare field for over 25 years, starting her healthcare career as a radiologic technologist. She holds a Master of Science in Radiology Administration, earned an Executive Leadership for Healthcare certificate from Cornell, and is a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA).
