Consensus Cloud Solutions announced that it has acquired Summit Healthcare.

March 8, 2022 — Consensus Cloud Solutions announced that it has acquired Summit Healthcare. The deal was finalized on February 4, 2022. The combination of Summit Healthcare’s technology solutions and services with Consensus Cloud Solution’s advanced cloud and NLP/AI capabilities will provide many benefits throughout the continuum of care, including improved staff productivity and care continuity, which will positively impact health outcomes.

Additionally, there is a strong demand for technology that reduces burnout, supports limitations or reductions in workforce, and improves both clinician and patient satisfaction,” said Jim McKinnon, President of Summit Healthcare. “Collectively, Summit Healthcare and Consensus Cloud Solutions have been tackling these challenges for over 20 years, and now with the combination of our respective solutions and services, we can add more value to the hospitals and health systems we support.”

The expanded product line includes offerings that will enhance care coordination by using business optimization tools such as RPA, NLP and AI, and powerful integration technology to connect disparate systems for more efficient data sharing. All of the technology solutions will continue to have the option of being paired with superior professional services.
