Quartet of hospitals will employ PaxeraUltima web-based PACS with zero-footprint viewer, full spectrum of diagnostic and reporting tools

PaxeraHealth Wins Four New PACS Projects in Chile

June 7, 2019 — Picture archiving and communication system/radiology information system (PACS/RIS) developer PaxeraHealth has won four new PACS projects in Chile during the past three months, according to the company. The healthcare facilities have selected PaxeraHealth’s web-based PACS solution, PaxeraUltima. The facilities will benefit from a multimodality medical viewer that delivers a consolidated worklist, zero-footprint viewer to access images and reports from any browser or smart device, and a full spectrum of diagnostic and reporting tools.

According to the company, the scalable PACS solution comes with ultrafast streaming technology, the ability to import, view and archive non-DICOM files, and built-in online support.

The four new installations — SAR Santa Cruz, SAR Los Castanos, Hospital de Cunco and SAR Constitucion — are the result of a long-term partnership with Ultramed SPA, a leading medical device distributor in Chile.
