Third-generation platform enables an ecosystem of apps that simplifies the consolidation, replacement and adoption of technology that enhance clinical outcomes

November 3, 2017 — Mach7 Technologies invites attendees at the 2017 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting to meet Sage, a data services platform built to deliver solutions for the common challenges of patient care delivery in a fraction of the time and effort.

Sage enables improved access, management and data liquidity across an ecosystem of clinical applications, according to the company.

With general release expected in early 2018, Sage will be accessible through traditional means including onsite services and the cloud, as well as downloadable at Mach7’s website.

Mach7 CEO Mike Jackman said the platform is designed to solve the legacy challenges of deploying picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and a vendor neutral archive (VNA) with less effort and resources. He highlighted a recent implementation of a full imaging solution in under three months at both a large imaging group and at a community hospital.

On display at the Mach7 booth will be an ecosystem of clinical apps that leverage the open interfaces of Sage to access, manage and exchange DICOM and non-DICOM data across various clinical workflows. With apps delivering hundreds of clinical workflows today, Mach7 will be highlighting smart collaboration with partners including a complete PACS powered with Client Outlook's smart viewer eUnity as well as apps for care coordination, advanced artificial intelligence, analytics and more – all running on Sage.

Mach7 also announced that the University of Vermont Medical Center has selected the company as their partner to be the foundation of their enterprise imaging strategy across Vermont and northern New York. Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform will serve as the central hub for the UVM Health Network's imaging ecosystem, enabling the consolidation of all imaging data and managing the diverse workflows across the enterprise including radiology, cardiology, pathology and more. Mach7's abilities in the areas of intelligent image routing and automated data localization will allow UVM's radiologists to access patient imaging records from any location with a consistent and informed experience for optimal patient care.
