Partnership will integrate Zebra’s analytics engine with Telerad Tech’s RADSpa, a cloud-based integrated PACS/RIS platform

July 7, 2017 — Zebra Medical Vision and Telerad Tech, the technology arm of Teleradiology Solutions (TRS), announced they have signed a partnership to bring Zebra’s cloud-based deep learning analytics engine to over 20 countries and 150 hospitals and healthcare organizations in India, Asia and Africa.

TRS is currently one of the largest teleradiology and telediagnostic companies in Asia, according to the company, and is one of the larger teleradiology companies in the United States where it serves more than 100 U.S. hospitals.

Since 2015, Zebra Medical Vision has released clinical artificial intelligence imaging applications that automatically identify liver, lung, bone and cardiovascular disease, as well as breast cancer and intra-cranial bleeding. The company’s solutions have been implemented in hospitals across Europe and the U.S., and the collaboration with Telerad Tech will allow expansion of the company’s footprint to India, broader Asia and Africa.

The agreement was signed as part of the visit of India’s Prime Minister to Israel on July 5, 2017, further strengthening the growing commercial and technological ties between India and Israel.
