July 8, 2016 — Singular Medical Technologies (SMT) announced the entry of three new high-performance, multi-PACS (picture archiving and communication system) products to the market: the Reading Workstation, Multi-Site Multi-PACS Workstation and the Mobile Imaging Workstation.

Utilizing SMT’s unique Vendor Neutral Platform (VNP) architecture, the workstations use the original reading and viewing software to ensure seamless integration and immediate productivity. They process and render radiology images more than four times faster than the leading vendors, according to SMT.

The Reading Workstation is a single, purpose-built reading workstation that eliminates the poor-performance experienced with other options. SMT said it is very easy to install and can be up and running within hours.

Multi-Site Multi-PACS Workstations offer seamless multi-site, multi-PACS access without complex and expensive integration. At 10 percent of the cost and 10 percent of the integration time compared to vendor neutral archive (VNA) and cloud alternatives, this technology streamlines all radiology image reading operations and allows instantaneous sharing.

Mobile Imaging Workstation or the “Stand Up Reading Stations,” are specifically designed for emergency departments, free standing emergency rooms, referring physicians’ offices and radiology departments. This reading station provides wireless flexibility, ergonomic comfort and long-term battery use.
