Breast imaging PACS takes top spot for third consecutive year

Sectra, Best in KLAS 2015/2016, Breast Imaging PACS

January 29, 2016 — For the third consecutive year, IT and medical technology company Sectra is ranked No. 1 by its U.S. customers and has been awarded the 2015/2016 Best in KLAS for PACS in the “2015/2016 Best in KLAS: Software and Services” report.

Sectra Breast Imaging PACS (picture archiving and communication system) supports fully integrated breast tomosynthesis reading within the mammography workflow. Through true multimodality capabilities, breast images are displayed from any modality — including digital pathology — side by side with the mammograms. With an offering including integrated computer-aided detection (CAD), a breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) application, and the ability to sort, filter and create worklists based upon breast density, a highly efficient workflow is achieved at any size mammography clinic.
