September 4, 2015 — Gustave Roussy has awarded Elekta with an order for four Versa HD linear accelerators, replacing their existing installed base of competing systems. The premier European comprehensive cancer center started its radiotherapy program in 2013.

Versa HD is designed to be a high-versatility treatment system, giving clinicians the flexibility to deliver conventional therapies to treat a wide range of small and large tumors throughout the body, while also enabling treatment of highly complex cancers that require extreme targeting precision.

The hospital also installed Elekta’s Mosaiq oncology information system two years ago. The order for the Versa HD systems was booked in Elekta’s first quarter for the fiscal year 2015/16.
